Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Strategist will be tasked with lead generation for Payscape's brands using marketing tactics such as PPC, search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing to grow the pipeline for the various sales teams. This role with work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to optimize the marketing funnel and create a pipeline for Payscape’s sales force.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own & optimize top-of-funnel digital marketing tactics to drive leads and qualified opportunities for sales.
  • Roll out improvements to SEO elements such as internal linking, meta content and on-page content to increase traffic and lead generation.
  • Forge strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales.
  • Forecast and present to senior management and help the Director of Marketing achieve greater marketing success.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on search engine marketing, content marketing, blogging, SEO, Social Media and be a trusted digital advisor for the team. 
  • Manage relationships with external advertising vendors.
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google+. 
  • Conduct analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Proven marketing veteran, with experience in PPC, display advertising, SEO, blogging, and growing an audience on social media.
  • Google Analytics & AdWords certifications required.
  • You must be analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize a team’s approach and a company’s forecast.
  • Self-starter, hungry to put ideas into action.
  • Creative thinker & problem solver - you're passionate and resourceful enough to operate in a 'start-up' environment. 
  • Hubspot & Salesforce platform experience a plus
